Gwen and Alain cook a lovely dinner for us all - roast beef a la Dumont!

Silque cries "One exit each, Ro!"

Silque throws dagger, hits figure in the leg but does not drop it.

Rowaine decides to go against Silque's advice. She grapples the mysterious figure but it wriggles out of her grasp.

Figure ducks under bed.

Rowaine manages to halt its progress, entwining its legs in her strong arms.

Silque is a little taken aback at Rowaine's "dismissive" actions. She figures that Rowaine can take care of herself and heads outside, in case the intruders have hidden entry/exit points.

A teacher, Mr. Smith (teaches language), attempts to help Rowaine.

Krag, disturbed (?) by the female screams, comes to investigate and enters the girl's dormitory. Enok is with him.

Rowaine tightens her grip around the waist of her opponent and hears something crack. She pulls the figure from under the bed and throws it at Krag's feet, yelling at him to hold the creature.

Silque looks around outside and spots what can only be a hidden figure to the right (north). She merges with the shadows and attempts to get closer.

Enok leaves the building, spots Silque melding with the stonework and starts to move north.

A glint of something metallic is the only warning before Silque is struck by something small and sharp. And poisoned. She struggles to shrug off the poison's effects.

Enok, with little evidence to work with, still manages to make an impossibly good shot at the assailant (critical) but it does not drop. Silque staggers after it but is unable to close the gap and the dark-clothed figure escapes into the deepening darkness. She stops at the last place she spotted the creature and waits for Enok to catch up. Enok cannot track in the failing light, however.

Silque and Enok circumnavigate the monastery's grounds, but finding nothing else, regroup with the others in the girl's dormitory.

Sir Veketh orders all to move to the more defensible temple.

The captured and unconscious intruder is examined. He is a human male, though small for his apparent age. His features resemble those of the monastery's newest visitor, the young girl known as Ellie.

Sir Veketh reveals that he knows a little of the language that Ellie speaks - it is the same as Hep's native tongue. He also mentions that he has some idea of where Hep's land is - several month's sail beyond the eastern coast, which is around two week's travel from the monastery. The headmaster suggests to the group that the girl be returned to her homeland - would they take her?

At daybreak, once morning prayers are answered, Adrak will cast Tongues upon one of the party members. Ellie will be questioned first, after which Krag will cast Zone of Truth and the questioning will commence on the foreign prisoner…
