Short Version

The party decide to leave the caverns and head back to Hallowdale to restock their supplies… so they do!!

Long Version

It takes the players about 3 hours of real time to figure out how to get their characters out of the 150' chasm. No-one seems to know where their rope is. Finally, as dusk approaches the last party member crawls up out of the hole. They set off at once for Hallowdale, choosing to ignore the risks involved in travelling at night. Miraculously, they arrive at Hallowdale's south gate without event - albeit at about an hour before midnight. Nuff talks to the sleepy nightwatchman who is at first very reluctant to allow the party entry into the city at such an unsociable hour. However, the nightwatchman mistakes Nuff for an actor of some repute involved in a hugely popular travelling play and bends the rules a bit. He recommends an inn called the Copper Kettle in exchange for an autograph for his sister.

The Copper Kettle is a colourful place - any drink you want, as long as it's ale… a lively musical act that you can't help but tap your foot to… Rooms that are more often than not let out by the hour rather than the night…

Nuff greases the innkeeper's palm and secures three rooms for the night.

Baelor takes up a defensive position at the bar, sets up a long line of coins and proceeds to drink the night away.

A not wholly unattractive woman sidles up to Nuff and propositions him. With a few coins, he deftly deflects her attentions towards Sack, who doesn't have a clue what to do. The "lady" orders a drink or two and then "shows him the way" :-)

The party eventually retire for the night to their functional if not sumptuous rooms. The next morning, Sack is in a unacceptably good mood.
